This article is [chalk/chock/chuck] full of links to biblicaly faithful resources for parents and those who engage with our youth. Apologetics is an area that is important to them - our next generation(s) will each face a circumstance where they feel that social media (at least the ones they listen to) are right, and that Christianity ought to be discounted.

How do you counter that?

First - you don't wait for the faith crisis. Give them the tools early in life. Teach them the Bible - God's Word! Many arguments can be defeated if the listener has a grasp on what the Bible is and is not. The only way to get that knowledge is to get it!

Next - think of the hot-button topics that intersect, and attempt to erode faith in the younger generation. Make sure out students know what God's Word says about each issue, and how that is grounded in God's holy character.

Finally - give them logical, rational, scientific reasons to believe. Every time I look at the evidence, I am overwhelmed by the evidence for God (in general) and Jesus as he is revealed in the Bible (in particular). Fill them with ways to think critically about the logical falacies that the world will employ to poke at the truth of God.
