Was Marx Right About Religion?

Marx wrote, "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people."

Christianity gives us hope of a resurrection and a world to come, lived in the glory of almighty God!

If you were to labor in the hot sun, but you knew that after a days work, you would never have to work again, would have a zillion bucks, and would be free of pain and suffering, it would make that one day's labors incredibly bearable and - dare I say - joyful! Even the bad parts, like the sunburn, the mosquitos, the muscle aches, the pain and the suffering. 

It is the hope of eternity with God that makes our labors for his glory bearable. 

This hopeless world benefits from our hope-filled labors. This world longs for the hope that we hold!
