Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster created Superman in 1938, as a hero that matched their bullied personalities along with their desire for the bullied to rise to exact justice on the empires of evil! Well, they sold away the rights to Superman shortly after the inaugural publication in Action Comics. They sold the rights to Superman for ... $130.
What a mistake! I am sure someone slyly saw the value in Superman, then tricked them into selling. Siegel and Shuster spent their lives trying to get their rights back. No avail. They both passed away in the '90s, broken and absolutely penniless in comparison to the commercial enterprise that Superman had grown in to.
Do not let this world fool you into quitting the race. Finish, and finish well! The reward makes the sufferings and doubts of this world look penniless. Persevere!
