BLUF - it takes community!

It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child. I say it takes a church to raise a Christian.

Summary!

1. Commit to One Another

2. Warn One Another

“My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins” (James 5:19–20).

3. Rescue One Another
Christians are people who “speak the truth in love” with one another (Eph. 4:15).

4. Struggle Alongside One Another
Do you regularly talk about Jesus with fellow believers? Are you a sign-holder for struggling sheep?

As I briefly (and with raspy voice) mentioned last Sunday - we have to be a welcoming church! Then next step is to be involved in the lives of others - be that beacon God's church needs to lean on, to shine the way of holiness and (if need be) to reflect forgiveness and the courage to confess.

Church isn't for the weak, yet is is for the weak!  You have to be weak and in need of help to come to the great healing place!  But you also must be brave and strong enough to break out of your shell of comfort so that you can live in life-changing community!
